The BKB B3S combines a durable hard shell with a design that provides good foot support and comfortable performance during longer sessions. Its rockered setup reduces the effective wheel contact length, making direction changes, transitions and technical movements easier.
The 165mm mounting uses different frame lengths depending on the skate size to maintain a good balance between stability and maneuverability:
- 231mm for EU sizes 36–37 and 38–39
- 243mm for EU sizes 40–41, 42–43 and 44–45
The wheel configuration is the key feature of the B3S: the outer wheels are smaller than the center wheels, creating a rockered setup that reduces the effective contact area with the ground. This configuration is particularly suited to slalom, crossovers, transitions, quick direction changes and technical moves.
The HR BKB 85A wheels provide a good balance of grip and smooth rolling, while the ABEC-7 bearings deliver consistent and accessible rolling performance.
The removable and washable liner makes maintenance easy and helps maintain comfort over time. Internal cushioning also provides additional protection during longer training sessions.
