Created for the 30 Years of Innovation anniversary collection, it introduces carbon fiber to Carver’s lineup for the first time, celebrating three decades of the original surfskate. The result is a board designed to deliver more energy with every pump, while reducing weight and improving resistance to moisture and fatigue.

The carbon-fiber bottom layer replaces the original composite material to provide a more energetic response with every push. Its exposed carbon weave gives the board a distinctive finish inspired by the shimmering skin of the blacktip shark behind its name.

The new HPR17 mold is designed to make the most of this construction. A gentle center concave flows into a deeply sculpted front-foot pocket for added control and foot placement. The lower tail angle helps your back foot keep driving the board throughout each turn, supporting continuous pumping.

The 70mm 78a Roundhouse Mag wheels roll smoothly over rough pavement and help maintain speed between pumps. Choose CX trucks for a sharper, more immediate response, or C7 trucks for smooth, flowing turns and a more drawn-out surf feel.
