How to Install and Remove Bearings from FAMUS Furious Wheels
What You'll Need
To perform the job, you'll need:
- Spray grease or WD-40
- A handled Allen key
- A rubber mallet
The goal is to install or remove the bearings while avoiding unnecessary damage to the wheel or its aluminum core.

⚠️ 2022 Update: A Gentler Method
The original video, published in 2019, demonstrated a fairly aggressive method. It works, but it can be hard on your equipment, especially if you regularly install and remove bearings.
Since then, the brand has introduced a gentler press-fit method.
The idea is to use:
- a bolt
- washers
- nuts or wing nuts
The hardware is assembled so that the bearing can be pressed gradually into the wheel by tightening the system, until the bearing is fully seated.
This method gives you much better control over the pressure and avoids directly hammering the equipment.
And honestly, it's much easier to understand when you see it in action! ?
