Freestyle Scooter Warranty & After-Sales Service: Everything You Need to Know

Freestyle scootering is a relatively young sport, but it has evolved enormously over the years.

Back in the 2010s, we used folding JDBUG scooters, added a few bolts to remove the folding mechanism, and fitted homemade handlebars made from tubes found in Grandpa's garage, with some... questionable welding!

Since then, brands have developed their products considerably. Their research and development departments, engineers and designers are constantly working to make equipment stronger, lighter and more reliable.

But a freestyle scooter is still subjected to very high levels of stress. Even high-end equipment designed to handle big tricks and hard landings can eventually break.

Brands know that nothing is indestructible and that riding style, frequency of use and the stresses placed on the equipment can directly affect its lifespan. This is why they have established specific warranty conditions for different components.

Warranty & After-Sales Service at CLIC-N-ROLL

Each shop is responsible for the equipment it sells. Therefore, we can only process after-sales service requests for products purchased from CLIC-N-ROLL, with valid proof of purchase.

You can find your purchase invoices directly in your customer account on our website.

Warranty coverage applies only to manufacturing defects. Damage caused by use, impacts, crashes, chips, scratches or normal wear and tear is generally not covered.

At CLIC-N-ROLL, we always do our best to submit and support your after-sales service request with the brand or supplier within the applicable warranty period.

However, the final decision belongs to the brand. If the brand refuses the warranty claim, unfortunately we cannot override that decision.

• Deck: 6 months
• Fork: 3 months
• Bar:
  • Aluminum / Titanium: 1 month
  • Chromoly: 3 months
• Wheels: 3 months
• Clamp: 3 months

ETHIC DTC

• Complete scooter: depending on the affected parts
• Deck: 1 month
• Fork: 3 months
• Bar: 3 months
• Wheels: 1 month

AO SCOOTER

• Deck: 3 months
  • Bent decks are not covered.
• Complete scooters: 3 months
• Spare parts: 3 months
• Wheels: lifetime warranty in case the urethane separates from the wheel hub.

Issues resulting from normal wear or use are not covered.

Before submitting a warranty claim, always check the condition of your equipment and the warranty conditions applicable to the brand and component concerned.

Freestyle scooter equipment is designed to withstand significant stress, but no component is indestructible. Proper maintenance and appropriate use can also significantly extend the lifespan of your equipment.
